As a small business owner, a former global events manager for a Fortune 500 company and a wife and mom of three, Windy Jennings is a woman you can trust with your vision. A pragmatic creative and a logistical mastermind, Windy makes things happen. A true believer in the value of event strategy for successful brands, Windy knows how to make your event come to life in a way that creates a lasting impression and makes your brand the hero.
With 20 years of experience across agency, in-house and creative environments, Windy immerses herself in her clients’ brand, goals, audiences and more to map impactful event strategies that instill wonder in her clients. Whether a product, a service or a new offering, Windy finds a niche avenue for events—engaging customers, employees or the media to position her client as exciting and differentiated in the marketplace.
Prior to founding Wonder Event Strategy, Windy was global events lead at WestRock Company, where she managed 300+ customer-facing events a year in dozens of countries and partnered with business leaders and marketing and communications colleagues to integrate events into impactful experiences. Before that, Windy was the founder and principal of her own wedding planning business, Weddings by Windy, where she planned and directed 100+ weddings in six years. You can still find Windy in the wedding planning circuit through LK Events & Design. She began her career at the New York office of global public relations agency Burson Marsteller. She holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University.
